Rear CRA - Cargo Rack Assembly
Unlike swingarm-mounted racks, the RADE Rear CRAs keep cargo suspended with the rider, preserving suspension performance and reducing cargo shock loads.
Ride Characteristics
- Rack remains isolated from suspension movement.
- Cargo load is supported by the main frame, not the swingarm.
- Scooter suspension continues to function normally.
- Rack moves with the rider mass, not with the wheel assembly.
- No increase in unsprung mass.
Suspension Compatibility
- Full suspension stroke maintained.
- No contact with tire, fender, rack, basket, or cargo at maximum compression.
- Clearance verified through complete suspension travel.
- Compatible with stock shock, unverified with aftermarket shocks.
Scooter Functionality
- Scooter folding mechanism remains fully functional.
- Rack does not interfere with stem folding or locking.
- Scooter can still be transported and stored in folded configuration.
- Charging ports remain accessible.
- Not all Rear CRA are quick release compatible. Those that dont have a quick release will remove with 3 bolts leaving only the small frame to CRA platform.
